Every year on Ascension Day the Procession of the Holy Blood takes place in Bruges. In 2026 it was on 14th May.
In the morning there was a celebration in the Saint Salvator cathedral
Starting at 2:30 pm, a procession in traditional costumes with over 1,800 participants took place through the streets of Bruges.
