Here you can find all the useful information for taking photos at Antwerp Central Station.
The Antwerp Central Station ( in flemish: Antwerpen‑Centraal) is the main railway station of the Belgian city of Antwerp and is considered one of the most beautiful stations in the world, often called “the railway cathedral” (spoorwegkathedraal).
It was built between 1895 and 1905 on an old terminus, designed by architect Louis Delacenserie.
My photo tips:
Here are my tips for taking photos: there are two places to take photos: the train arrival point and the main square. The station isn’t particularly crowded because many trains also arrive at the other station, Antwerp-Berchem. So you have the peace of mind to take photos without having to avoid crowds of people.
You don’t need a tripod as there’s enough light to take adequate shots. Since these are architectural photos, my advice is to always position yourself in the center of the structures, so you have a symmetrical and central view.
This is the exact position
