The Sagrada familia in Barcellona
The Sagrada Familia is located in Barcelona, Spain. It is the city’s most famous basilica and is associated with Antoni Gaudi.
The church’s construction dates back to 1882. The construction and initial design were commissioned to another architect, Francesc de Paula Villar, but he left the project after a year due to disagreements. It was then entrusted to Antoni Gaudi, who decided to completely revolutionize the basilica’s design, making it completely innovative and different from others.
The Sagrada Familia is still under construction (a crane can be seen) and the work is not yet finished.
