If you go to Seville, you can’t miss the famous bullring. I’m against bullfighting, but this square is truly beautiful to see, especially when it’s empty. I really like the intense yellow color of the sand and the red of the fences.

To appreciate it, I recommend visiting at quieter times, so you can see the arena’s intense color best. Access to the arena itself is permitted, as is the lower stands.

The oval effect of the arena is very beautiful, with the stands of different categories, some of which are under the arches.

Construction of the Plaza de Toros began in 1749 and was completed in 1761. It was built by the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla, a prestigious institution of knights.

The bullring is an excellent example of Spanish Baroque architecture. It features a circular arena surrounded by tiers, typically adorned with colorful ceramic tiles and wrought iron elements. The arena can accommodate 14,000 people.
